Permanent makeup in Sunderland

Wake up with beautifully balanced definition.

Powder brows, lip blush and lash enhancement created with precision, conservative planning and close attention to how the work will heal.

Permanent makeup that still feels like you.

Good permanent makeup is not a template. Shape, placement, colour and intensity are planned around your individual features, personal style and the healed result you want.

I trained in permanent makeup with renowned artist and educator Antony Turner in Leeds. My Sunderland studio is licensed by Sunderland City Council for semi-permanent skin colouring, and hygiene, consultation and aftercare are non-negotiable.

Brows, lips & lash definition.

01

Powder & ombré brows

Softly shaded permanent makeup brows designed around your face, natural hair pattern, colouring and preferred finish. The result can be subtle and airy or more defined, while remaining carefully balanced.

02

Lip blush

A personalised lip tattoo designed to improve the appearance of colour, definition and symmetry. Pigment is selected with your natural lip tone, colouring and healed result in mind.

03

Lash enhancement

A fine permanent makeup enhancement placed through the lash line to create the appearance of fuller, darker lashes without the look of a traditional eyeliner.

04

Li-FT saline removal

Specialist saline lightening for suitable unwanted permanent makeup. Removal is a process rather than a single appointment, and the likely number of sessions varies according to pigment, depth, age and skin response.

Permanent makeup, after healing.

These are finished afters and healed results from real Sigil + Skin clients. They show the soft definition, balance and wearable colour I aim for once the initial treatment has settled. Individual results vary.

Planning, patch testing and healing.

Permanent makeup requires a full consultation and any required patch testing before treatment. Your medical history, medications, skin condition, previous permanent makeup and desired result are reviewed before work begins.

Fresh permanent makeup appears stronger before settling as it heals. Aftercare and realistic expectations are discussed clearly so you know what to expect at every stage.

Permanent makeup FAQs.

How long does permanent makeup last?

Permanent makeup fades gradually and longevity varies with skin type, lifestyle, pigment, technique and aftercare. Colour boosts may be chosen when the healed work becomes lighter over time.

Do powder brows look natural?

They can be soft and understated or more defined. Shape, colour and intensity are planned around your features and preference, with the healed result in mind.

Do I need a consultation and patch test for PMU?

Yes. Permanent makeup requires consultation, medical screening and any required patch testing before treatment. Previous PMU must also be disclosed and assessed.

Do you offer permanent makeup removal in Sunderland?
