Hello, I’m Lol.

I’m the founder and practitioner behind Sigil + Skin, and I have built the kind of studio I would want to visit myself. Private, welcoming and completely focused on the person in front of me.

When you book with me, your appointment is never rushed or passed between different therapists. You receive my full attention, honest advice and a treatment shaped around you, your comfort and the results you want to achieve.

I am a Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Beauty Therapist, achieving distinctions at both levels. I am also a qualified HD Brows Stylist, trained in the complete HD Brows treatment, BrowSculpt brow lamination and advanced colour customisation. Whether I am creating a beautifully balanced brow, improving the health and appearance of your skin or carrying out a specialist treatment, precision and attention to detail are at the heart of my work.

I completed my permanent makeup training with renowned artist and educator Antony Turner in Leeds, developing specialist skills in powder brows, lip blush and lash enhancement. I later trained with The Areola Training Academy in Essex in advanced areola tattooing, scar camouflage and MCA scar revision.

My wider qualifications and training include advanced facials, skin treatments, massage, brows and lashes, ear irrigation and microsuction, cryotherapy, vitamin wellness injections, PRP, phlebotomy, blood-borne pathogens, infection control and first aid. I am also a qualified Usui Reiki Master and hold a Level 3 qualification in Adult Education and Training.

This breadth of knowledge allows me to look at the whole picture rather than treating every client in exactly the same way. I understand that great results come from choosing the right treatment, working carefully and knowing when something is not appropriate. I will never recommend a service simply because it is the most expensive option.

Hygiene, safety and professional standards are non-negotiable. Sigil + Skin is licensed by Sunderland City Council for semi-permanent skin colouring, and every treatment is carried out using strict infection-control, consultation and aftercare procedures.

From September 2026, I will be continuing my professional development at Gateshead College, studying Level 4 Advanced Beauty Techniques and Level 5 Non-Surgical Aesthetic Procedures. I am constantly investing in my education because my clients deserve treatments informed by current knowledge, excellent technique and safe practice.

I am also the founder of Pigments In Positivity CIC, a community interest company providing supported medical and restorative tattooing for people affected by surgery, scarring, illness and trauma.
