Booking fees
A 10% non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your appointment. It is deducted from the final treatment price.
Before you book
Booking policy.
Clear policies protect my time and help the studio run fairly for every client. Please read these before making an appointment.
Changing or cancelling
Please give at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange. All changes must be made by you through your Fresha account. Please do not message Sigil + Skin asking for an appointment to be changed on your behalf. Cancellations or changes with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged at 50% of the appointment price.
No-shows
If you do not attend your appointment and have not contacted me, the appointment is charged in full. Future bookings may require full payment in advance.
Patch tests
Tinting, brow lamination and lash lift treatments require a valid patch test at least 48 hours before treatment. A new test is needed before your first treatment, after a gap of six months or more, or when your medical history changes. If you book a treatment without completing the required patch test, that treatment will not go ahead. Where suitable and time allows, we may be able to offer a different treatment instead. If this is not possible because of suitability or the time available, the original appointment will be charged in full.
Consultation forms
Please complete any consultation forms sent to you in advance of your appointment. This allows me to check suitability, prepare properly and contact you before your visit if I need any further information.
Appointment only
Sigil + Skin operates strictly by appointment. I do not accept walk-ins. If no appointment has been arranged, please use Fresha to view services and availability rather than visiting the studio.
Arriving and timekeeping
Please arrive no more than 5 to 10 minutes before your appointment. If you arrive late, your treatment may need to be shortened or adapted and will still finish at the scheduled time so the next client is not delayed. The full appointment price remains payable.
If you are unwell
Please rearrange through Fresha or contact me as soon as possible if you are unwell or may be contagious. We can move your appointment to a time when you are feeling better. Treatment may be refused or postponed where continuing could put either of us at risk.
Guests, children and animals
Please attend alone unless a carer, support person or other guest has been agreed with me beforehand. The studio contains clinical equipment, sharps, chemicals and fragile items, so children must not be left unsupervised. Animals cannot attend unless agreed in advance as an assistance-related adjustment.
Suitability
Treatment may be adapted, postponed or declined where it would not be safe or appropriate. Please answer consultation questions honestly and tell me about relevant changes to your health, medication or pregnancy before your appointment.
Age restrictions
Some treatments are only available to clients aged 18 or over. Where a treatment can legally and safely be carried out on someone under 18, prior written consent and attendance by a parent or legal guardian may be required. Please contact me before booking.
Respect and conduct
Sigil + Skin is a safe, professional and inclusive studio. Abusive, inappropriate, discriminatory or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in treatment being refused and future bookings being declined.
Payment
The remaining balance is due in full at the end of your appointment. Cash and major debit and credit cards are accepted. I do not offer credit. Current prices and treatment times are shown on Fresha.
